Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Tribhuvan Army set a competitive target of 133 runs. Imran Sheikh led the charge with an impressive 34 runs, well-supported by Sompal Kami’s contribution of 23 runs. The Gandaki Province bowlers, Amrit Gurung and Krishna Poudel, made their mark by taking two wickets each.
Gandaki Province faced a challenging pursuit of the modest target, encountering difficulties throughout their innings. Ultimately, they were all out for 64 runs in 23.4 overs. Ishwor Chhetri top-scored with 16 runs, while Karan Pangeni and Roshan Gautam contributed 15 and nine runs, respectively.
The standout performer for Tribhuvan Army was Shahab Alam, who proved to be an imposing force on the bowling front, securing four crucial wickets. Jitendra Mukhiya and Kushal Malla played significant roles, each contributing two wickets to restrict Gandaki Province’s batting lineup.
