The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled dual squads for their upcoming series on home turf. Captain Rohit Paudel will lead the 15-man squad for the series against Canada, providing an avenue for emerging talents and young players to showcase their skills. Meanwhile, a seasoned and well-established squad will take the field in the subsequent CWC League 2 series.
The three-match series against Canada is scheduled for February 8, 10, and 12, followed by the CWC League 2 tri-series featuring Nepal, Netherlands, and Namibia from February 15 to 24.

For the Canada series, senior players Dipendra Singh Airee, Karan KC, Arjun Saud, and Gulshan Jha will be rested. This opens the door for U19 team’s pacers Hemant Dhami and Aakash Chand, along with left-arm pacer Rijan Dhakal, to earn their maiden call-up to the senior team. Additionally, Anil Sah, Pawan Sarraf, and Dev Khanal make their return to the squad, with Anil Sah having been the top batter in the recently concluded Prime Minister Cup, and Pawan Sarraf also displaying a solid performance in the tournament.
Surya Tamang, Pawan Sarraf, and Rijan Dhakal find themselves in both squads. Surya, who was awarded Player of the Tournament and Best Bowler in the PM Cup, is expected to bring his impactful performance to both series.
