The second edition of the KP Oli Cup football tournament officially began on Friday at the ANFA Complex in Lalitpur. Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari inaugurated the event, organized by the CPN-UML-affiliated Prajatantrik Yuwa Sangh.
Party leaders, activists, and sports fans witnessed the opening ceremony. The day’s inaugural match featured KP Oli Football Club, led by Anant Tamang, facing off against Church Boys United, captained by Deep Karki.
A total of 10 teams are competing, including seven A Division Clubs and two Indian teams – Delhi FC and West Bengal Club. The tournament concludes on March 2nd, with the final match held at Dasarath Stadium.
