Bangladesh’s Jishan Alam and Ariful Islam played pivotal roles in their team’s triumph, scoring 55 and 59 runs respectively, steering their side beyond Nepal’s total. Openers Ashiqur Rahman (16) and Chowdhur Md Rizwan (15) also contributed significantly with the bat.
Nepal’s Subash Bhandari proved to be a lone warrior with the ball, taking all five wickets for his team. Despite his efforts, Bangladesh managed to achieve the target in just 25.2 overs.
